He and his partner are taking the first steps into true adulthood! They've adopted a little baby boy named Kile. I'm so proud of them. I'm sure that little Kile is going to grow up very strong, in a loving household.

I made a mention to this in the comment I left him, but I can really go into my feelings here. America today has gotten so hard to live in. Every time you open the newspaper or turn on the television, it seems like our government is trying to create a definition of what this is, or that.It has even gone so far as to define marriage, and pushed the boundaries by saying who can and cannot get married. That the ruling body of a country claimed to be built on the rights of the people and the true freedom of democracy would place its control over its citizens by telling them they cannot get married is apalling to me. As a gay man, I fail to see where my rights are upheld in this situation. Is it not my right to fall in love with whomever I wish? Whether that person is male or female is irrelevant, in my opinion. The important fact is that I am happy, and my partner is happy, and that is all that matters. I'm so proud that Raiser and Yuki (Raiser isn't my friend's real name. I don't remember it at the moment.) have risen above that form of vicious control. They are both growing into strong young men, and I wish them both the best of luck in their future together. In my opinion, they are a true achievemtn of the American dream. They are a happy couple with a child to fill their lives with joy, and that is all that matters.

Congratulations, you two. Good luck with each other, and with Kile.
